Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five in addition to the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercises. On the balance beam Raisman received the bronze medal. She was one of the few American to have won many Olympic medals. At the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event which gave her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being one of the very first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. She also won silvers for individual all-around and floor exercises. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast took three years off from gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly donates towards the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand her line of socks and leotards in the near future. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
